This is an exciting opportunity to join our newly created Operations team! Our Operations team includes, Finance, Resources, Facilities, People and Culture and Legal. The People and Culture Assistant will be responsible for the administration of a range of generalist functions including recruitment, HR systems, HR processes and activities.
This is a real opportunity to develop your knowledge and experience in human resources and offer valued support and contributions to the team and the wider organisation. You will put your solid administrative skills to use by developing and driving processes, ensuring that all HR initiatives are being effective and valued.
You will:
- Be the first point of contact for Managers and Employees for HR related queries by managing the people and culture inbox, escalating where necessary
- Administer employment contracts, variations and maintain all associated documentation within the employee lifecycle and employee files
- Track and monitor completion of HR activities, such as; induction, probation, recruitment and employee changes.
- Assist in writing and posting job advertisements and position descriptions for both staff and volunteer roles
- Update monthly HR metrics and quarterly dashboard metrics for Management and Board
- Maintain data integrity of AI Australia’s HR databases; including our HRIS, Learning Management System, and Online Recruitment Systems
- Support Finance run the payroll function and coordinate payroll during team absences, as required
This role is ideal for someone starting out or building their career in the human resources and wants to put their administration and organisational skills to good use. This is a part time contract role working 45 hours per fortnight until December.
