We have an exciting part-time contract opportunity in our NSW Action Centre for an experienced Administration Assistant. This contract is immediately available, 50 hours per fortnight, through to 29 March 2019. You will provide effective and efficient administration and project support to our Senior Leadership Team (SLT). You will shine in a high volume working environment and your relationship management & organisational skills will be second to none.

This role is responsible for:

  • Scheduling and supporting meetings and events for project teams and the SLT, including minute taking and logistics;
  • Producing, distributing and managing information including routine documents and communications for the SLT;
  • Diary management for the Deputy National Director and National Director;
  • Basic level financial management including reconciling credit cards and expenses;
  • Ad hoc administrative support for other SLT Members; and
  • Contribution to the Office of National Director administrative and executive support team as required.

You will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in supporting a Senior Manager, Senior Management Team or project team
  • An ability to multi-task, show initiative and manage a high volume workload with competing deadlines
  • Effective communication skills and an ability to develop and build effective working relationships
  • Exercise discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Efficient organisational skills, and the ability to effectively prioritise work
  • Intermediate level skills working with the MS office Suite; Gmail; and Google drive functions
